FUTURE EVENTS Church Parade Dates 2007 Our church parades are usually held on the first Sunday of each month at St Nicholas' Church in Nuneaton town centre (opposite the library). Dates for the rest of 2007 are as follows: May - Sunday 6th June - Sunday 3rd July - Sunday 1st August - No Parade September - No Parade October - Sunday 7th November - Sunday 4th December - Sunday 2nd Please try to attend whenever possible - we meet at 10:15, ready to parade at 10:30.
Annual General Meeting - Monday 4th June 2007 This year's AGM will be at 8:00pm on Monday 4th June in the Scout Hut. The meeting consists of a short report from each of the pack leaders and committee members, followed by cheese and biscuits. All parents are invited to attend
Prize Bingo Night - Saturday 9th June 2007 We'll be holding a prize bingo night at 7:30pm on Saturday 9th June in the Scout Hut. All members, families and friends are invited to attend. The entrance charge is just 50p for adults and 25p for children.
Annual Balloon Race - Saturday 14th July 2007 This year's balloon race will be held at ASDA Nuneaton on Saturday 14th July. Last year's event was a great success, with over £500 being raised and balloons were sent back from as far away as Norway and Sweden. We'll be looking for members of all ages to help out on the day so keep your diaries clear! More information will be given nearer to the time.
Holiday Club - Thursday Evenings Throughout Summer 2007 As with last year, our holiday club will be running on Thursday evenings throughout the summer for both Beavers and Cubs. All are welcome to attend between 6:30 and 8:30pm from the 26th of July through to the 30th of August. Uniform need NOT be worn on these evenings. The charge for these evenings will be £2.00 per child, payable on the night.
Group Camp - Friday 31st August to Sunday 2nd September 2007 Group camp for all Cubs and Scouts will be held from Friday 31st August to Sunday 2nd September at Broadwater Camp Site & Activity Centre, with Beavers once more joining us on the Saturday. More information will be given out nearer to the time.
Remembrance Day Parade - Sunday 11th November This year's Remembrance Day Parade will be on Sunday 11th November. More details to follow.
PAST NEWS ITEMS
Pantomime Visit - Friday 12th January 2007 Cubs and Beavers are invited to join us on a visit to see the pantomime 'The Pied Piper' at Nuneaton Arts Centre on Friday 12th January 2007. Further details will be sent out nearer the time.
Bonfire Night - Friday 3rd November 2006 This year's bonfire for Cubs and Beavers will be held at Ron & Elaine's house, between 6:30 and 8:00pm on Friday 3rd November. A letter giving further details will be sent out nearer the time.
Annual Balloon Race - Results! This year's balloon race at ASDA was a great success, with over £500 being raised. Balloons were sent back from as far away as Norway and Sweden, with the final winner found in Sweden. Thanks to all those who helped out on the day.

Registration forms have already been sent out for this event - please contact your leader for more information.
Tombola Stall - Nuneaton Town Centre - 30th September 2006 We will be holding a fund-raising tombola stall in Nuneaton town centre on the 30th September. It is hoped that many Beavers and Cubs will be able to come (if only for a short time) to help sell tickets. More information will be given out nearer the time.
